Housekeeping and Scientific Notation

Today, we went over the MCAS question from Friday, then started our lesson on Scientific Notation by reviewing the homework from Thursday.

Hints to remember:
A number multiplied by a positive power of 10 will become larger.
A number multiplied by a negative power of 10 will become smaller.
A number written in scientific notation is a number between 1 and 10 multiplied by a power of 10.
When a number is written in scientific notation:
If the original number was very large, the power of 10 will be positive.

If the original number was very small, the power of 10 will be negative.
